If you need a good cry, like sometimes women do, or if you are interested in a very touching "story", check out this blog. You might want to start here. I would add it to the list of links on the left, but my throat closes up every time I read his blog so I will post the link just once to share with you all.

Ehem...
We have an announcement to make. Leah has her first tooth! If you're lucky she will let you feel it. Just the corner is through right now, but that explains some of the fussiness over the weekend. It is the right, front tooth on the bottom. Say good bye to that gummy smile. :(

The House

So, the cherry on top of this week has been that Leah has been running a fever since Friday. It has come down today, but she is sure fussy.
We never posted any pictures of the house, so here they are. We finally have some weather that I'm not afraid to go outside in. Our house is on a 0.26 acre lot, which is a good size for our area.
The flowering plant (I'm not sure what it
is) is the high point of the landscaping at this point. The low? The dirt patch. We really need to fix that and stop bringing the neighborhood down.
Just like what would happen to anyone moving into a new house, we have big plans for fix ups and projects. Our time is a little constrained now with a baby and all, but we dream big! Maybe one day we will get this house just the way we want it - and NOT move!
I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the summer weather this weekend. I can't believe it is the middle of May already.

My Wednesday
When you read this, put yourself in my shoes. One person, two arms, one baby.
Wednesday at lunch I went to get gas and ended up needing to get my car jumped because it wouldn't start. So, I called the dealership to take it in that evening and they have an Enterprise at the dealership next to them. When I left work I had to get my car jumped again. At this point, I decided no A/C, no radio. I just want to make it to the dealership.
Picked up Leah, stopped by the house to get the stroller, went to the dealership. Now comes the tricky part - the car seat swap. How was I supposed to take the baby & the car seat to the rental place? A salesman came out to help and in the flustered state I ended up locking my keys in the car.
About this time I realize I don't have the diaper bag - no food, no formula, no diapers. It's 6:00 and Leah usually eats at 5:30. Long story short, I got the rental car, had Leah in the stroller while I put it in the car, she cried the whole way home. Jenni came over & we got her fed, she took Leah for a walk while I ran back up to the dealership w/ my spare key.
Wednesday was a very long day!
