- Congratulations to Pete & Melissa, who are expecting their second child in September! We are very excited for them - they are both wonderful with babies and children.
Leah can:
- Pull up. She just started doing this and it is amazing how when she learns how to do something, she does it over and over. Playing with her toys on the chaise has become her new favorite thing to do.
- Crawl. The threshold between the kitchen & living room has been a boundary that she set for herself. Thursday, I was in the kitchen getting dinner ready and this is what I turned around to find:
- Say da, ba, nee, wow, and bow. Wow and bow are the funniest because she puckers up her lips when she says them.
- Feed herself some things. She is getting good. Pretty soon we will start moving to table food and away from baby food.
- Drink from a sippy. She is finally starting to get this one down. Straws are still a challenge for her.
- Leah is trying to whistle. Grandpa started her on this when we were out in California. Joe was whistling to her earlier this week and she was giving it her all. She puckers up her lips, then she lets out a squawk - like that's how she thinks it happens. It is very cute to watch.

Wow! Your floors are so clean!
Leah is so cute!
Jackson still does that whistle trick where he puckers and then just makes a high squealie noise. Too funny.
